ENHANCED PERFORMANCE, NATURAL LOOK

What makes the new Shinnoki finishes so special? It starts with craftsmanship. Each finished wood panel is made from real wood veneer crafted using Decospan’s exclusive mixmatch technique. This process creates a harmonious, consistent surface from natural timber, with no need for additional finishing.

The panels feature a brushed, stained, and lacquered surface—applied in a six-layer process that resists scratches and protects against spills. A soft-touch acrylate urethane lacquer adds comfort and durability without hiding the wood’s natural beauty. This makes Shinnoki one of the most resilient wood finishes on the market.

TESTED FOR QUALITY

Shinnoki panels are built to perform. Let’s break down the technical testing:

  • Resistance to chemical agents (EN 12720): No visible change after 24 hours exposed to water, wine, milk, and other common liquids. Most wood surfaces would stain—Shinnoki does not.
  • Scratch resistance (EN 438-2/30 B, Class 5): This is top-tier performance. You won’t see micro scratches under normal use.
  • Wear resistance (EN 14354 / D, 600 turns): Shinnoki lasts longer than typical wood veneers.
  • Impact resistance (EN 438-2/20, ≥ 4 N): Can handle bumps from everyday use.
  • Brinell hardness (EN 1534, ≥ 6 HB): Stronger than many natural hardwoods.

APPLICATIONS AND EASE OF USE

The range includes matching panels and edge banding, so it’s a full system—ready for fast and easy specification. With options suited for both vertical and light horizontal use, Shinnoki is ideal for millwork, cabinets, furniture, and wall panels.

“Shinnoki has already won its place in our projects because of its easy availability and outstanding quality. The product is coated with a robust varnish and is also pre-finished, which saves us considerable time.”

These new wood finishes bring soft textures and ultra-matte sheen into today’s most refined spaces. The collection includes 18 curated looks—from warm classics to contemporary cool tones—so there’s a Shinnoki panel for every palette. You can view the entire collection here.
