Slalom’s FELTdesign elevates PETfelt and ECOfelt through advanced printing, laser processing, perforation, collaging, and stitched detailing. These treatments combine acoustic comfort with bold visual impact, turning standard felt into a surface that feels custom and crafted.

With the same soft touch and acoustic absorption as PETfelt and ECOfelt, FELTdesign introduces color, pattern, and geometry as design features in their own right.

Colors and Patterns for Every Concept
Available in a wide range of colors: ECOfelt (90% wool, 10% polyester) comes in 55 shades; PETfelt (96% recycled PET) comes in 45 shades. Both deliver color, comfort, and performance. FELTdesign expands on PETfelt’s and ECOfelt’s range of colors with added dimension and detail.

FELTshape allows designers to create endless custom shapes and color combinations. POISfelt layers two colors using micro holes to create a rich texture. PRINTEDfelt offers a wide array of customizable possibilities. Arlecchino, designed by Swedish colorist Tekla Severin, introduces printed geometry with contrasting colors that create rhythmic, dynamic surfaces. CRAFTfelt uses precise laser processing and stitching to evoke a handcrafted finish with subtle texture.

Together, these approaches provide designers with a palette of colors and patterns that is both vibrant and versatile.

Endless Applications
FELTdesign can be used as a flat wall covering, on ceilings, glass, curved surfaces, or furniture to enhance acoustics while adding visual character. With its balance of acoustic function and decorative detail, FELTdesign is equally suited to feature walls, installations, and integrated architectural finishes.

Panels can be mounted with glue, Velcro, or double-sided tape, and the material adapts easily for upholstery, curtains, and panels.

COLOR DIFFERENCES: Slight differences between dyeing lots are considered normal.
MAINTENANCE: Regularly and carefully use the vacuum cleaner with a smooth spout, or use soft-bristled brushes, or professional pads for padding and upholstery.
INSTALLATION: Slalom recommends working with installers who have at least four years of experience in installing upholstery products.
