Square is Slalom’s latest thermoformed acoustic surface, built around a precise grid of raised 5 x 5 cm squares. The repeating geometry creates a clean, contemporary texture that shifts throughout the day as light and shadow move across the surface. More than decorative, the three-dimensional structure adds rigidity and helps improve acoustic performance, making Square an elegant solution for large architectural surfaces.

Color and Texture Add Another Dimension

Square is made with a sound-absorbing core of 100% recycled polyester fiber and can be specified in a broad range of Slalom finishes, including PETcolor, PETfelt, PETfabric, ECOfelt, Trevira CS, Velvet, Tweed, Bouclé, and Spigato. That range gives designers the freedom to make the grid subtle and tonal or use color and textile texture to push the pattern forward. The panel is also recyclable at the end of its life without separating the core from the finish.

Designed for Large, Continuous Surfaces

Square can be installed on walls or ceilings using a Velcro mounting system, making it easy to create expansive, uninterrupted fields of texture. Standard panels measure approximately 47.2″ x 110.2″, with custom laser-cut dimensions also available. For projects requiring greater acoustic performance, Square can be paired with additional 20 mm or 40 mm polyester backing while maintaining the same clean architectural expression.
